1. I used to wear long hair and play lead guitar in a rock band.
2. Before 2003 I had never listened to opera and only rarely to classical music.
3. I've worked as a librarian, a shop assistant, a recepcionist working the night shift, a journalist and a teacher.
4. I almost died at the stalls of the Liceu in Barcelona trying not to cough during a performance of Haendel's Ariodante.
   
5. I have an autograph of Chiquito de la Calzada.
6. I once created a monster and then ran away in panic.
7. I have a cat who has proved several times to like Wagner's operas.
